We are Tracy and Bruce Bonczyk... What brought us to Reiki?

Tracy -
has spent much of her life helping people heal their wounds, grow personally and spiritually, and become the very best expression of their authentic selves. To that end, her endless curiosity and fascination with how people work, how they learn, how to help them move beyond their perceived limitations, has compelled her to learn everything she could about how to help them achieve these ends.

At the same time, she has put uncounted hours into her own growth, her own healing.

Tracy's path has helped her to gain some degree of understanding of the fact that our bodies can heal themselves. She's learned a lot about how the mind can help the body to heal. She has experienced some of that, herself, in that she has healed spontaneously from several physical problems that the medical profession would consider difficult, unlikely or even "not possible". Just one example of this, to quote Tracy, "I was so sick, that I don't know whether the doctor said it was kidney stones, or gallstones. I was home alone, in immense pain, so I drove myself to the doctor, having to stop twice to vomit, the pain was so intense." After seeing the doctor, overnight, the stones melted or disappeared. The next day, there were no signs at all of what had been there the day before. Her doctor was astounded that she had either passed the stones painlessly .... really not likely..... or dissolved them.... also unlikely. Tracy has experienced other "healings" similar to this.

Tracy absolutely knows miracles are possible, and loves helping others achieve their own miracles.

Bruce -
30 years ago, Bruce was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, which is an incurable, debilitating disease. His doctors told him he would never walk again, he would never work again, he might just as well resign himself to eventually becoming completely disabled. As predicted, his muscles and his body deteriorated, and he ended up in a wheelchair for 8 years.

At one point, he worked (in a volunteer position) for a theatre company in the Buffalo, NY area. He would climb up the stairs backwards to get there, sitting on one step, and pushing himself upwards, moving up to the next step, still sitting, and pulling his wheelchair up with him.

He loved the work so much that this was a work of love for him.

Moving forward in time.. to today.. the doctors can find no indication of MS in him. They have no idea how this happened. They can find no indication that he has recovered from MS, no sign that he ever HAD the disease.

After full recovery from an incurable disease, helped in part by energy work and Reiki, Bruce has enthusiastically sought the knowledge, the training and opportunites to help others who are seeking self-healing. Bruce, also, absolutely knows miracles are possible, and has a passion for helping others achieve their own miracles.
