First, I would like to say that Reiki is not a religion. It has no dogma and there is nothing you need to believe in for it to work. I don't have to have faith in it and the client doesn't have to have faith in it  for it to work. The Reiki principles are non-violent, compassionate ideals. They do not violate a person's religion or religious ethics. Reiki works well with any belief system or religion. However, if I had to give Reiki a religion, it would be the Religion of Love because Reiki IS Love.

Just for today I will not worry.
Just for today I will not be angry.
Just for today I will do my work honestly. Just for today I will be kind to my neighbor and every living thing.
